Both Ashley Spiers and Mary Crosby Swinney believe that ’nSPIERS is more than a Pilates studio. It’s a calling.

Their story is a testament of the Holy Spirit working in their lives and their faith in the Lord’s plan has led them to where they are right now.

A nudge from a friend left Ashley with an idea—a moment that planted a seed she couldn’t shake. “We should open a Pilates studio!” she texted her sister. Little did she know, Mary Crosby had been dreaming of opening a fitness studio of her own for years—and Ashley’s idea was the perfect fit.

The sisters were called separately to start this adventure, but simultaneously. They moved fiercely forward together, united in their obedience to Christ.

Over just the past year, the Spiers sisters realized this mutual passion was from the Lord and their previous experiences and gifts have prepared them to lead now.

Ashley presently serves as the Executive Assistant to Head Coach Dabo Swinney with Clemson Football. Her task-oriented, go-getter personality combined with her diverse skill set and managerial experience equip her to lead in a bold way.

Mary Crosby, the younger of the two, is the head instructor. As a teacher with previous experience as a Pilates instructor, her gentle but disciplined spirit guides her. Her dream came into focus through a deep love for all things fitness, health and wellness—especially through the joy of teaching and encouraging others.

Together, the two sisters make the perfect team. Ashley’s outgoing persona paired with Mary Crosby’s loving character combine to foster the studio’s identity. As part of a close-knit family, who call Clemson home, the two have always dreamed of pursuing an adventure together.

Listening to the Lord’s instruction, the sisters stepped out in faith and opened ’nSPIERS.

Headed by two sisters and backed by an entire Spiers family, this studio is a dream come to life. As believers and followers of Christ, it is our hearts’ desire to inspire others.
